NOC Tier I and II Engineer

KMA is looking for a NOC Tier I and II Engineer to support a government contract in Ashburn, VA. Candidates must be able to pass a drug and background check and gain a secret government clearance.

Essential Requirements:

Must have 2-5 years WAN/LAN Network management, Network Security and TELCOM experience and/or preferably experience gained in these areas from working in a Network Operations-management Center (NOC).

Must be able to work in a rotational shift environment across including weekends and holidays.

Experience with Cisco, Linux and Juniper devices is required. Individuals with Linux operating systems are preferred.

Requires CCNP/CCNA Certification or the following equivalent experience:
-Minimum of 5 years experience in a NOC evironment.
-Must be proficient in routing technology and protocols at a mininmum:
i. IP
ii. BGP
iii. OSGF
iv. EIGRP
-Proficient in Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls.
-Proficient in troubleshooting across the OSI layers
i. Physical to Application
-Proficient in Network Management and Tools
-Understanding of DNS
-Understanding of IPsec/VPN
-Understanding of IPv4, IP block partitioning
-Writing technical problem description and Network Preformance Reports.

Knowledge of Cisco 1600 to 6K series routers, Juniper Net Screen, MacAfee IDS, Blue Coat, and Cybertrust is required.

PC Technician (multiple positions available)

Responsibilities Include:
-Installing, modifying, and repairing to computer hardware and software systems.
-This position also includes providing technical assistance and training to system users, as well as answering client's inquiries concerning systems operation; diagnosing system hardware, software, and operator problems.
-Finally, a successful candidate will recommend or perform remedial actions to correct problems based on knowledge of system operation.
-Inspects personal computer equipment and reads order sheet listing user requirements to prepare computer for delivery.
-Installs or assists service personnel in installation of hardware and peripheral components, such as monitors, keyboards, printers, and disk drives on user's premises, following design or installation specifications.
-Loads specified software packages, such as operating systems, word processing, or spreadsheet programs into computer.
-Enters commands and observes system functions to verify correct system operation.
-Instructs user in use of equipment, software, and manuals.
-Replaces defective or inadequate software packages.
-Refers major hardware problems to service personnel for correction.
-Attends technical conferences and seminars to keep abreast of new software and hardware product developments.

-B.S. in related field preferred or equivalent experience.
-2+ years of experience required

Senior Network Engineer

KMA is looking for a Senior Network Engineer and a Senior Systems Analyst to support a government project in Fairfax, Virginia.

Qualified candidates must be able to pass a drug and background check and gain a government secret clearance for all positions.

Essential Requirements:

Experienced with networking that can support problem management functions for the service desk. These include performing root cause analysis to identify significant problems with network infrastructure across the Army. Once a core issue has been identified, they ill work to help identify the solution to the problem. In the interim, incumbent will work with the service desk personnel to work out a work-around solution that can be provided by the Tier I technicians for the field. Should have 8-10 years experience, understand Army network security requirements, understanding of Cisco and Foundry equipment, preference for some VoIP experience.

Senior Systems Analyst

Essential Requirements:

In addition to requirements of Senior Network Analyst, this person will be focused on back office support type activities. Responsible for the problem management function, with focus in identifying root cause for problems in Exchange, AD, storage and other back end date center type systems. Experience in IT operations, Microsoft systems, and Unix/Linux systems. Army security experience a plus. Should have 8-10 years experience.
